Barbara C. Casey Spartanburg, SC: Barbara Casey, 76, passed away Tuesday July 9, 2019 following a long hard fought battle with cancer. She was the wife of Ronald E. Casey and the daughter of the late Robert and Alice Calton. Mrs. Casey and her husband Ron were married 54 wonderful loving years. She retired from Wachovia Bank after many years as a bank teller, and she was a long time faithful member of Southside Baptist Church, Spartanburg. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Derrick Casey of Spartanburg; two daughters Sharon Wight and husband Bryan of Inman, Jennifer Rosenthal and husband Rob of Waxhaw, NC; four grandchildren Brayden and Mackenzie Wight, and Allie and Addison Rosenthal; two sisters Sylvia Sullivan of Spartanburg and Judy Cummings and husband Larry of Boiling Springs. A private family graveside service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 13, 2019 officiated by Rev. David Frost.
