Arthur’s Obituary Arthur Lee Davis, 92, went to his heavenly home on Saturday July 27, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born March 18, 1927 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward Davis and Maude Estel Guyton Davis. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruby Mae Todd Davis, his sons; Lonnie Davis, Bobby Joe Davis, and Donald McKiever Davis; grandchildren, Christopher “Chris” Timothy Davis and Becky Davis; great-grandchild, Taylor Lee McKinney. Arthur was an avid outdoorsman who worked at Dargan Construction Company for many years taking great pride in all the accomplishments of his work. His great passion was singing, where he sang Gospel music, at several radio stations around for many years. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Davis is survived by his children, Grady Lee Davis (Pat) of Conway, Jackie Davis (Judy) of Galivants Ferry, Johnny Davis of Conway, Jeanette Jordan (Glenn) of Conway and Shirley Sellers of Conway; several brothers and sisters.; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him. The family will receive friends prior to the service Monday, July 29, 2019 at Watson Funeral Services between 3pm and 3:45pm. Funeral Services will be held 4:00pm Monday, July 29, 2019 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Floyd and Mr. Dale Lewis officiating.
