Anna’s Obituary On June 27, 2019, Anna Shamshoian passed away peacefully while residing at the Armenian Home in Fresno, California. She was predeceased by her parents, Simon & Marina Nalbandian, her husband, George Shamshoian, 2 sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Gail McClard, and her husband, Lloyd McClard, a granddaughter, Laura McClard, 3 great granddaughters, 2 great grandsons-in-law, 9 great-great grandchildren and multitudes of nieces and nephews. She spent many years faithfully and bravely caring for her husband as he progressed through the stages of Parkinson’s Disease. She was very much the hostess to her family and friends throughout her life. Everyone who had an opportunity to partake of her cooking and baking thought she did an excellent job, She made them feel welcome in her home. She created beautiful oil paintings. The people who received them as gifts cherish them. She had a great sense of humor and was always able to make witty comments, even to the staff at the Armenian Home. She and George were always available to help family and friends with any project that came along. We Loved her and will miss her. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Armenian Home, St. Gregory’s Church, Bright Horizons Hospice, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, or a charity of your choice. Read More
