Anna Mae Spitzer Stout, age 86, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Bristol Select Specialty Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Gaines and Gladys Clemons Spitzer and was born in Carter County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Spitzer. Anna Mae attended Heartland Fellowship Church and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Those left to cherish her memory include four children, Sherry Vasey and husband, Doug of Brentwood, TN, Richard Stout of Knoxville, TN, Joe Stout and wife Colleen of Elizabethton, and Kathryn Stout of the home; a sister, Margaret Wilson and husband, Pete of Elizabethton; two grandsons, Brett Vasey of Brentwood, TN and Joe Stout of Elizabethton; a great-granddaughter, Kylie Stout of Elizabethton; a sister-in-law, Callie Spitzer of Elizabethton; and an uncle, Ray Clemons of Elizabethton. A graveside service to honor the life of Anna Mae Spitzer Stout will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Marvin Slagle officiating.
