Obituary of Angelina LaSala Angelina (Scaglione) LaSala, 83, of Monroe Twp., died on Saturday July 6, 2019 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. Angelina was born in New York City and raised in Newburgh, NY. She moved to New Jersey and settled in Lodi, moving to Elizabeth when she got married where she lived for 35 years before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1994. Angelina was employed as a Secretary for the Elizabeth Board of Education for 6 years until her retirement in 1994. She was a parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church. Angelina loved crocheting and taking trips to Atlantic City. Angelina was pre deceased by her husband, Joseph LaSala (1994) and her brother, Felice Scaglione (2008). She is survived by her son, Pellegrino LaSala and his wife Susan of Clark, her daughter Concetta LaSala of Monroe Twp., five grandchildren: Joseph, Alexai, Paul, Angelina and Marissa and her dogs: Bella, Rex and Barry. Visitation will be 4-8pm on Tuesday July 9, 2019 and 8-8:45am on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Wednesday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at St. James the Less RC Church – 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, NJ 08831 followed by interment in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
