Andrea Christine Szerzo (1980-2019) Andrea “Christie” Szerzo, 39, passed away at her home in Pensacola on the evening of July 26, 2019. Ms. Szerzo is the daughter of Elizabeth Shelby (formally Szerzo) and Frank Szerzo, and was born in Enterprise, AL. She is survived by both her parents and two sisters, Yvette DeMaria and Lisa Lloyd. Christie joined the United States Air Force in 2005 and remained on active duty working as a medical technician, serving in both the Republic of Korea and U.S. territory of Guam before her discharge in 2010. After being discharged she took up residence in Pensacola where she worked in the medical field. Ms. Szerzo attended Pensacola State Community College and upon graduation was matriculated and began her continued studies at Florida State University, College of Medicine, where she was scheduled to receive her degree in early 2020. She will be interred at Barrancas National Cemetery on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 10:00am. We will be meeting at the vacant lot across from Checkers at 9:30.
