Alicia’s Obituary Alicia Lynn Ellis, 50, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Orange Park, FL, passed away suddenly at her father’s home, on Sunday, July 28, 2019. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 28, 1968, a daughter of Richard G. Ellis and Virginia Cheryl Buffum Ellis. After graduating from Severna Park High School, she earned an associate degree in accounting from a Baltimore Collage. She was employed by the hospitality industry for 30 years. For 26 of the 30 years she was a loyal, trusted, and respected General Manager for McDonald’s Restaurant’s. Alicia was awarded “Manager of the Year” for two consecutive years before leaving to pursue other challenges. She was a member of Job’s Daughters of Baltimore, Maryland and was the Honor Queen for the State of Maryland. Alicia enjoyed doing things with her brother and grand-daughter, collecting thimbles, McDonald’s pins, and animals going to the beach and raising pets, but most of all she cherished her two children. She was a strong mother with good work ethics, who loved and cared for her children. In addition, she loved visiting her parents and brother. Alicia is survived by her mother Virginia, a brother Richard II, an aunt Deborah Williams, a step mother Carolyn; a son Robert Cannon and his wife Sierra of Jacksonville, Florida, a daughter, Stacy Cannon and her wife, Ashley Howell of Rockledge, Florida, a granddaughter, Alexis Howell of Rockledge, Florida, a cousin, Jacqueline O’Connell of Atlanta, GA, and fur-baby cat, Polly. Alicia was preceded in death by several pet cats (Bro, Smokey, Angus McNugget III, and a dog (Heidi Mistress of the Heart). A Memorial Service and interment will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 5400 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL, at a later date. The family of Miss.
