Obituary Alden “Red” Birdsong, age 83, of Denton, Texas, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his residence. Red was born October 12, 1935 in Douglassville, Texas to Debbs and Ella Mae Birdsong. He was the retired owner of Birdsong Backhoe; a Baptist by faith; and served in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his son, Alden Birdsong, Jr.; and his parents.
