Sharon Collier Hart, 62, of Scott City, Missouri died Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at her home. She was born February 23, 1957 in Cairo, Illinois to Charles David and Virginia Belle Laxton Collier. She and Mike Hart were married October 25, 2014 at Charleston, Missouri. Sharon was a master seamstress and quilter and an avid gardener. She worked for ADM/Golden Peanut for 36 years, retiring as the IT Director. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. Survivors include her husband, Mike Hart of Scott City, Missouri; two sisters, Lynda Gant of Jackson, Missouri and Joyce Collier of Scott City, Missouri; two step-sons, Joe (Kat) Hart and Jeromy Hart both of Cape Girardeau; two step-daughters, Rebecca (Luke) Chadwick of Costa Mesa, California and Margo (Dewayne) Marshall of Mountain View, Missouri; and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews and greats, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am Saturday at the church with the Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
