Luann’s Obituary Tracy, MN Funeral Services for Luann Pugsley Armitage, 63, of Tracy, MN, formerly of Fairmont, MN, will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Burial will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Luann passed away Saturday morning, April 27, 2019, at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements. Luann Mary Armitage was born on November 26, 1955 to Ervin “Dutch” and Mary (Niemann) Rahmeyer in Fairmont, MN. She graduated from Truman High School. On August 24, 1974, Luann was united in marriage to Greg Pugsley at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. This marriage was blessed with two children, Bethany and Gabriel. They made their home in Fairmont. Greg passed away on April 14, 1996. Luann was united in marriage to Kerwin Armitage on June 28, 1998 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. They made their home in Truman, MN and in 2013 moved to Tracy, MN. Luann taught preschool at Grace Lutheran Church for a short time and kept busy as a Mom and homemaker. After her marriage to Kerwin, Luann worked as his secretary for Electronic Service, his business in Truman. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school. She was also involved with Compassionate Friends. Luann enjoyed crocheting, motorcycling, bicycling (tandem bike), canoeing, flower gardening, Facebooking, movies, crafts and watching her grandchildren’s sports and activities. Luann will be remembered for her gentleness and kindness. Through her whole life she has battled a heart and lung disease and has went through many hard times, but she always showed strength in getting through everything. Her faith in God was so important to her. A big joy in her life recently has been her companion therapy dog, Dolly Ann. Luann is survived by her husband, Kerwin Armitage of Tracy, MN; daughter, Bethany (Josh) Schafer of Hanley Falls, MN; step-daughters, Jessica Armitage of Brandon, SD and Katie Armitage of Fairmont, MN; step-son, Rocky (Robin) Armitage of Fairmont, MN; twelve grandchildren; brothers, Rick (Goldie) Rahmeyer of Lake Crystal, MN and Jerry Rahmeyer of Roseville, MN; brother-in-law, Tom (Karen) Pugsley of Berryville, VA; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin “Dutch” and Mary Rahmeyer; first husband, Greg Pugsley; son, Gabriel Pugsley; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Anna Armitage and Clayton and Eva Pugsley.
