CATHERINE (KATE) LARCHER (EDGAR) Catherine Bea “Beep” passed away on April 22, 2019 at her home in Bountiful, Utah. She was born in Blackfoot, Idaho on October 14, 1962 to Robert and Billye Edgar. Her father passed away when Kate was only five years old. The family later moved to Bountiful in 1971, where she graduated from Woods Cross High and later attended the University of Utah in 1988 where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She married Jerry Larcher in 1988 in Salt Lake City where they made their home and began their family. Kate was bright, loving and patient as she home schooled all three of their children. Kate and Jerry, for the last twenty years, have made their home in Bountiful. Kate loved her family above all and she enjoyed a close relationship with our Lord and Savior. She recorded many inspirational songs from the Lord which she kept close to her heart but never had published. She is survived by her husband Jerry; daughter Libby; son Nicholas; brother Bob Edgar (Lora); her mother; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Natalie Noel; and step father Duane, (whom she loved as a father). Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah where family and friends may visit from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bountiful City Cemetery.
