Luvenia “Sang”‘s Obituary Luvenia F. “Sang” Hayles peacefully passed away at her home in Atmore on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. She was born on August 12, 1926 in Barnett Crossroads, AL and later moved to Atmore, AL. She retired from the Bank of Atmore/ United Bank after 32 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Stella Fillmore, her husband, Charles F. Hayles, Sr., and two sisters, Jane Davis and Luverne Morton, and four brothers, Bill Fillmore, Jessie Fillmore, Jerry Fillmore, and Robert Fillmore. She is survived by her two children, Charles F. Hayles, Jr., and Gena Rudge; son-in-law, Keith Rudge, along with several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Charlotte “Dit” Grant. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kevin Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore, AL. Visitation will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home. Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
