Donald’s Obituary Donald Patsy Cosco, Sr., 72, of Farmington, passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Fairmont on April 23, 1949 to the late Joseph and Sara T. DeMarco Cosco. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean Boord Cosco; two children, daughter Kelly Watson and husband Dale, Jr. of Farmington and his son, D.J. Cosco and wife Amy of Monongah. The lights of his life were his grandchildren Robbie Watson and his wife Noell of Grant Town and Edith Watson of Farmington, Domenick and Audrey Cosco and great-granddaughter Sophia Rose Watson of Grant Town. Also surviving is his brother Joe-Joe Cosco of Fairmont, sisters-in-law JoAnn Layne, Sally Boord, Lucille Broadwater, Laura Cochran, Shirley Conrad and Delores Boord and brothers-in-law Bill Boord and Bill Conrad. Also surviving are nieces Becky Boord and Sherry (Rick) Gillett who will cherish his memory. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald Cosco and his in-laws Mark and Edith Boord. Donald was preceded in death by brother-in-law Herbert (Betty) Boord, sisters-in-law Susie (Teddy) Wright and Sandy Boord, and brothers-in-law Mark boord and Bob Layne. He is also preceded in death by several close aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews. He retired from Swanson Plating. Donald served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam where he was wounded and received several medals, including the Purple Heart. He was a member of Rose of Sharon Church and had many friends there, especially the late Pastor Rex Musgrove. Donald was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved to joke. Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Saturday from 6-8:00 P.M and Sunday from Noon till 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with KP Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmington.
