Collins, 91, of Troy, IL, born Wednesday, July 10, 1929 in White Hall, IL and passed away on September, 25, 2020 at her home in Troy, IL. Gertrude attended the Catholic Church. She was a member of Eastern Star in Robinson, IL and American Legion Post 106 Decatur, IL. She was a loving wife, mom and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Collins; and her parents, William and Vada Brandt; and her son-in-law, Lowell “Wayne” Mingus. Surviving are her daughter, Vickie Mingus of Troy, IL; granddaughter, Heather Mingus of Chicago, IL Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice of Illinois, 333 Salem Pl #165, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.
