He was the son of the late Claude T. Irick and Emma Beam. Bob graduated from Hampton High School in 1979. He was a great loving husband, Dad (Pops), and Papaw. He was a hard worker. He drove a truck for over 20 years to provide for his family. Bob (Pops) was very proud of his kids and grandkids more than words could begin to express. They were his heart and soul. His hugs could cure everything. His kindness and love will always be remembered. A man of few words, but he always showed you what it meant to be loved. His tremendous morals, strength, and family values showed what a family should be like. His life, to us, was a blessing and a true gift from God. His memory will never be forgotten and will always be treasured by us and all who knew him. He was survived by his wife Shelia J. Irick, one daughter and son-in-law Angie and Donald Davis, one son and daughter in-law Bobby and Allisson Irick, and 6 grandchildren, Bre, Caden, Hunter, Kailey, Trevor, and Ethan. He had a special mother- in- law Ruth E. Gragg (Granny). Bobby had several sister/brothers- in-laws, nieces, nephews, 4 brothers: Tom and Lori Beam, Junior and Joyce Beam, Larwence Beam, C.L Irick. He was proceeded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters, In addition, Ford Beam, Lyod Beam, Larry Beam, James Irick, Jean Smith, Linda Hawkins. The family will be having a private Celebration of Life Ceremony. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Memorial Funeral Chapel in Elizabethton, Tn.
