Graveside service will be held Monday, April 13, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Odom Memorial Cemetery in Parrish. Mike Tate will officiate. He was preceded in death by his father, Rexford Whitten; his mother, Ruby Whitten; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Whitten; and grandson, Daniel Whitten. He is survived by his wife, Jacqulyn Annette Whitten; daughter, Tina Damone; sons, William Allen Whitten and Richard Whitten; sisters, Connie Tate and Joyce Crane; brothers, Richard Whitten and Rexie Whitten; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
