Obituary William Meyer, 64, of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away at home on Thursday, April 16, 2020. William was born on July 6, 1955 in Jersey City, New Jersey and grew up in the Bergen County/Jersey City area. In 1992, William and his family moved to the Old Bridge area and about 10 years ago he settled in Matawan, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. William spent his lifetime passionately working in the restaurant and hospitality business. He was currently working for Stop and Shop in Aberdeen, New Jersey. He was predeceased by his parents, William August and Diane (Anita) Meyer and his beloved daughter, Jennifer Meyer. William is survived by his loving daughter, Melissa Meyer of Matawan, and his cherished grandchildren, Damien, Aiden, and Autumn. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
