Obituary William Kubick, 88, of Economy, passed away on Good Friday, April 10, 2020 in hisP home that he loved. He was born June 24, 1931 in Ambridge, to the late Michael and Anna (Pishko) Kubick. He was a tool designer and worked in the engineering department of Westinghouse Corporation, Vanport and later worked at Economy Tooling. William was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic, Church, Ambridge. He proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a brother, Mark Kubick. Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Elsie (Glatz ) Kubick, who he had a wonderful life and marriage with, a daughter, Karen Rotnour and Dave Reynolds, a son, William J. (Vicki) Kubick, all of Economy, and dearly loved his grandchildren, Jesse, Billy Boy, and Hannah and was so proud of their accomplishments. His pride and joy in his life next to his family was his lawn, “The nicest one in the neighborhood.” Due to the current health concerns, all services and burial were held privately. A memorial Liturgy will be held in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church at a future date to be announced. The family would like to thank the Drs. and Medical Staff on the 6th floor of Passavant Hospital as well as the nurses and staff of Concordia of the Villa St. Joseph.
