Walter Daleka, 97, of Paterson, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Walter was born in Jankowce, Poland and he emigrated to the United States in 1949, settling in Paterson. Walter was a Blue Seal High Pressure Fireman for Steam Leasing Associates in Hawthorne for many years. He was a parishioner of St. Stephen’s R.C. Church in Paterson. Walter was the beloved husband of Irena (Sobczyk) Daleka, loving stepfather of Pawel Yasinski and his wife, Beata, step grandfather of Jan and Zofia and dear godfather of Linda Krozser and her husband, David and their children Kyle and Nicole.
