Veronica Marie (nee Yates) McAlee, age 74, of Clifton Heights passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday April 16, 2020. Roni enjoyed day trips to the beach, casinos or simply getting lost on the back roads with the love of her life. Her positivity touched everyone from family to the neighborhood kids she would cross for elementary school. She was a culinary master who loved cooking for any holiday. Roni’s biggest passion was her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The kind of love she emanated was like no other. She will be remembered for her quick wit and making people laugh without even trying. Her smile was one that could light up an entire room. She was and always will be the glue that held us together. Veronica is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Patrick McAlee. Her children, Christine Muldowney (Robert), Thomas Richard McAlee, Deborah McAlee-Shanahan (Matthew). Her grandchildren, James and Krista Bellino, Kelsi and Alessio Lombardo, Alissa Muldowney and Joe Chambers, Nicole McAlee and Michael Sheldrake, Matthew Shanahan, Jr., Lacy Shanahan and Rylee Shanahan. Her great grandchildren, Ryder Chambers, Axel Bellino, Preston Lombardo and coming soon, Elaina Lombardo. Funeral Arrangements are private.
