Terry (Slick) L. Owen of Southmont, North Carolina May 24, 1951 – April 27, 2020 Mr. Terry Lenn (Slick) Owen, age 68 of Southmont, NC went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Lexington Dialysis Center. A private Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 2 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Terry Coats. Mr,. Owen was born May 24, 1951 in Denton to Harris Edward Owen and Pauline Elizabeth Bailey Owen. He worked in the furniture industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing when his health permitted, visiting friends and family and spending time this his special pet friends, Lady Bug and Scruffy. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Mozelle Owen and sisters, Juanita O. Mowery and Josie O Pottts. He is survived by a sister Pearl O. Morrrow (Sherman, deceased) of Marble, NC and a brother David Edward Owen (Janice) of Southmont, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Oscar and Nancy Kirkus of Southmont and the staff of Lexington Dialysis Center for their care and attention for many years. Briggs Funeral Home is serving the Owen Family.
