Obituary Terry J. Weers, 65, of Bettendorf, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his home. Private graveside services will be held at Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Handicapped Development Center. Terry was born September 30, 1954 in Davenport, the son of George & Lois J. (Smith) Weers. He had been employed with the Handicapped Development Center in Davenport and had been with the Recycling Center in Scott County for 20 years. Terry enjoyed golf, bowling and watching movies. Those left to honor Terry’s memory include his father, George; his sister, Kathy Gleason, both of Bettendorf; his nieces, Robin Dye and Dannielle King; his great-nieces, Tayler Dye, Khole Dye, Shannon King and Sawyer King; his aunt, Carol Sue Pullman of Florida; and his uncle, Butch Smith of Decatur, Illinois.
