Obituary Taylor Harrison Brooks, age 26, tragically passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 in Glennville, Georgia. Taylor was born June 28, 1993 in Macon, Georgia and raised in Dublin, Georgia. Taylor had the silliest dances moves, loved to make people laugh, loved to draw, write, and watch his daughter sing and dance to songs she made up for him. He had the goofiest personality that will forever be cherished and missed. He was constantly thinking of others and had the biggest heart of anyone we’ve ever known. We’ll miss his smile, his deep laugh, those baby blue eyes, and the ways he always made sure to let us know how much he loved us. There was nothing Taylor loved more in this world than being a dad. Taylor is survived by his beautiful daughter/“princess” Lila Nova Brooks, his mother Ada Harman Bateman of Dublin, his father Jack Joseph Brooks of Nocona, TX, his sister Ashley Brooks of Fort Worth, TX, and brother Chandler Bateman of Dublin, GA. He also leaves behind his stepdad Mark Bateman of Dublin, GA, grandparents Ron and Pat Harman of Dublin, GA, Annie Sue Brooks of Sebring, FL and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones and friends. Taylor will be so missed and forever loved. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
