Obituary Stewart W. Raymond Jr., 93, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was employed with Onondaga Cabinet Craft for over 35 years and then worked at St. Camillus for 19 years. Stewart was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was an avid golfer and a communicant of St. Ann’s Church. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Stewart was predeceased by his son, Richard; and granddaughter, Darcy. Surviving are his wife of 73 years, the former Delores Rajkowski; daughter, Catherine Raymond of Odenton, MD; grandson, Jason (Macy) Alfieri of Richmond, VA; great-grandchildren, Lacy, Kinsey and Brooklyn; great-great-grandchildren, Gizelle and Gaige; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Van Duyn for their care of Stewart. There will be no services. Stewart will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Stewart W.
