Sandra Faye Landert, age 76 passed away on April 29, 2020 from Covid-19 with one person by her side and some family virtually. She was born on May 1, 1943 in Highland, IL. Sandy graduated from Triad High School, attended college courses, and married Kenneth Landert in 1970. She was former past president of both the Highland, IL VFW Post 5694 Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 439 Auxiliary. She loved sewing, bingo and being a member of the Hardee’s BS Club. Survivors include: Daughters: Mary Neumann (and special friend Paul Johnson), Linda (Steve) Grove Stepdaughters: Bonnie (Robert) Maurer, Kelly (Jeff) Tosh, Juanita (Tim) Tracy, Ella (David) Wilson, Charolette (Don) Seifried, Vickie Lynn Baran, Carol (Ed) Bench Stepsons: Richard Landert, Kenneth Landert Jr. Grandchildren – Suzanne Neumann, Lisa Neumann, Lorna Neumann, Patrick Maurer, Scott (Amanda) Orrell and many more. Great Grandchildren – Arabella Neumann, Beckett Orrell, Deacon Orrell, and many more. Preceded in death by: Husband Kenneth Landert Sr., father Samuel and mother Helen Gindler, brother Cleo Gindler and sister Shirley Gindler A celebration of life is being postponed until a later date to be determined.
