SAMUEL’s Obituary SAMUEL EUGENE WEDDINGTON, age 64, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Weddington was born in Winchester, Tenn. to the late John Thomas Weddington and Frances Reed Weddington on Sept. 1, 1955. Mr. Weddington joined the U.S. Army at a young age and retired after serving for 37 years as an Army Cook, a job he thoroughly and dearly enjoyed. He then was a Peer Support with the U.S. Army and State of TN. He was a member of the VFW Post 4188 in Tullahoma. His favorite pastime was bowling. Mr. Weddington is survived by his wife, Robin Weddington of Decherd, children; Justin T. Weddington of Tullahoma, Tenn., Becky Isabell of Lacy Springs, Alabama, step-son, Victor A. Allen of Estill Springs and his “Battle Buddy”, Joanna “JoJo” Johnson of Murfreesboro, Tenn. It was Mr. Weddington’s wishes to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
