Obituary Mr. Sammy M. Bentley, age 75, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away, Friday, April 10, 2020. Sammy was born June 29, 1944 in Haralson County, Georgia to the late Milburne Stanley Bentley and the late Virginia McCurry Bentley. He enjoyed riding the country back roads, working in his yard and had a great love for his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Bentley. He is survived by his wife, Diane Chapman Bentley; his son, Jody Ayers; brother, Randall Bentley; sister, Polly Atkins; grandchildren: Aubree, Joshua and Joseph Ayers along with four nieces. In keeping with local, state and federal guidelines, funeral services will be private at the graveside at Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Charles Williams officiating.
