Ronald’s Obituary Age 84, died at his home on Wednesday afternoon, surrounded by his loving family. Ron is the devoted husband of Susie for 59 years. She preceded him in death in 2017. Ron and Susie are the loving parents of Ron Jr. (Karolynn) of Saline, Mark (Rosabella)(Karen) of Wayne, Randy (Janice) of Belleville, and Eric (Lori) of Belleville. Their grandchildren Paris, Ashley, Nick, Rachel, Sabrina, Julia, Stephanie, Brittanie, Lindsey and Brieanna, along with their great-grandchildren Kevin, Logan, Travis and Stevie are the love of their lives. 61 year residents of Belleville, Ron and Susie devoted their lives to their family, friends, and community. Ron is a talented craftsman that enjoyed using his hands to create original works that he shared with everyone. Wood carving was a passion as he pursued training and honed his skills in the art of hand carving carousel horses. He enjoyed wood turning, wood burning and painting gourds, fishing lures, leather goods and more. Ron spent hours in his shop listening to his favorite artist, Frank Sinatra, creating art with great love, knowing his gifts would bring a lifetime of joy to others. In keeping with his wishes, a simple cremation was arranged. A private celebration of Suzie and Ron’s life will be held in the near future.
