Roberta’s Obituary On Monday, April 13, 2020 Roberta Cywin, beloved wife and mother, went to be with Jesus at the age of 86. Roberta was born on April 25, 1933 in Dearborm, MI to Robert and Helen Sell. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan in 1953. She then spent the next 40 years practicing in Flushing, MI. On April 28, 1978 she married Lawrence Cywin. They had a strong, beautiful, and loving relationship. He worshiped her. They were inseparable. Dad had 2 things he always said about mom. “To know her is to love her.” and “What Roberta wants, Roberta gets!” She was his empress! Roberta was preceded in death by her daughter Tracy Kay Adkins. She is survived by her loving husband Larry. Her children and grandchildren Robin Groff (Ellen Groff, Lillianna Lee and Westyn Groff), Andrew Hagan (Alyssa Hyatt, Heath), Allison Cywin (Calen and wife Mika and Kyle and Anna and Levi), Charles Cywin (wife Rosemary, son Chaz), son-in-law Clay Adkins (son David, wife Andrea, kids Faith, Brook, Liam, and Owen), (son John, wife Amanda, children Harper and James). She is also leaving behind her sisters Marilyn Harris and Maurine Nelson. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong family friends. Read More
