Robert Gill Sr. age 78 of Sterling Heights, died on April 24,2020. Beloved husband of the late Karen Dee (nee Ramus). Born in Warren, Michigan he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret Gill. Loving father of Robert (Diane) Gill, Malinda (John) Patton and Shelly (Greg) Ratliff. Proud grandfather of 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild. Dear brother of Helen (John) Bolday, Late Butch and Joyce Gill, Betty (late Richard) Noetzold, Lenny (Birdie) Gill, Bill (Marilyn) Gill, Mike Gill, Marvin (Terry) Gill, Ruth (late Dave) Abdelnour and Jean (Mike) Karcho. Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews. Robert was a truck driver for over 40 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 247. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, yard work and was part of the “unofficial” neighborhood watch. He will be missed. In lieu of floral tributes, memorials to the American Lung Association appreciated. No public visitation due to the covid pandemic restrictions. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
