Rita Jane Holley, 62 of Corinth, MS, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at her residence. No services are planned. Rita was born June 29, 1957 in Corinth, MS to Harold E. Blackwell and W. Faye McDonald Blackwell. She retired as an RN at Magnolia Regional Health Center after 25 years of service, where she was a Nurse Manager over Labor and Delivery for several years. She was currently working at Medical Plaza on Harper Road. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She gave unconditional love and was a selfless person. She was of the Baptist faith. Rita is survived by her son, Seth Sanders of Corinth, MS: 2 grandchildren, Haylie Malone and Destiny Malone; her sister, Rhonda Atkins of Corinth, MS; her niece, Lydia Holmes and husband Eric of Corinth, MS; her nephew, Clint Atkins of AR; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold E. Blackwell and her mother, W. Faye McDonald Blackwell. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
