Richard “Harry” Vines April 27, 1937 – April 24, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Harry Vines, 82, Elizabethton went home to be with his Lord on April 24, 2020. Harry is the son of the late Joseph Harrison and Nancy Kate Miller Vines. He worked for over 31 years at the Box Factory. He was an outdoors man. He fished and hunted especially the wild turkey. He attended Center View Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Phillis Whitehead Vines of the home. A son Gary Vines and Judy of Elizabethton. Two sisters and brother-in-law’s Vada and Larry Graybeal of Elizabethton, Myrtle and Gene Stroud of Florence, Oregon. A brother and sister-in-law Teddy and Brenda Vines of Elizabethton. Two Grandsons, One Great Grandson, Several Nieces and Nephews. One Special Great Niece, Seanna Barley of Elizabethton. Due to the Covid 19 there will be no home visitation. Instead of flowers make a donation to St. Jude’s PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, Tn. 38101-990 or Shriners Hospital 950 W. Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605-4255. A private graveside service will be Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the Whitehead Cemetery with Mr. Tony Hoss and Mr. David Siebenaler, Ministers officiating. Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Vines Family.
