Memorial services will be held at a later date. Richard was born August 25, 1953 to Jack & Dorothy Barclay Fowler in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a former resident of Groves and had lived in Colmesneil for the past 24 years. He was a retired self-employed floor installer. Richard enjoyed gardening, carpentry, classic rock music and country music, especially George Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Dorothy Fowler. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lisa Fowler of Colmesneil; sons, Cameron Fowler & wife, Linzee of Colmesneil and Dustin Fowler of Austin; daughter, Shanna Dickson of Orangefield; brother, Keith Fowler & wife, Tammie of Groves; sister, Christy Jones & husband, Leslie of Cartwright, OK; grandchildren, Isaac Fowler, Grace Fowler, Jacob Trahan, Taylor Trahan, and Bryce Trahan; and great grandchild, Brooks. Cremation services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
