Richard’s Obituary Notice: George, IA Richard D. Beisch, age 62, of Pomeroy, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society in George, Iowa. Richard Dawayne Beisch was born on March 25, 1958, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Richard John Beisch and Charlene Lucille Ferris. Richard graduated in 1974 from Midland Park High School in Eldora, Iowa and attended college at Iowa Central Community College and graduated with his Mechanical Drafting certification in 1986. The summer of 1983, he met the love of his life, Jane Tjelmeland. Together, they raised six children and were blessed with 3 grandchildren within their 36 years together. Richard was a very hardworking and kind-hearted person. When he wasn’t at work he enjoyed spending time with family and camping. Survivors include his brothers Jeff, Scott, and half-brother John. His children, Nikki Gehrt (Daniel Bachman), Danielle Beisch-Cutrer (Dirk Cutrer) and child Morgan, Ethan Beisch, Dallas Beisch (Michelle Richardson), and Kylie Beisch of Pomeroy and Taylor Beisch (David Bradshaw) of Little Rock, Iowa and children Adrian and Noelle.
