Raymond C. Chevalier, 93, of Litchfield, NH, formally of Tyngsboro, Ma, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at his residence in Litchfield, with daughter Christine and Caregiver granddaughter Nicole. He was born August 6, 1926 in Lowell, MA, son of the late Edward and Yvonne (Clement) Chevalier. Ray was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen (Stapleton) Chevalier as well as by two sons, Mike Chevalier and James Chevalier, two brothers, Jerry and Bob, as well as by a sister, Louise. Ray was a Navy Veteran who served on the Robert Treat Payne Merchant Ship. He enjoyed fishing, boating and Sunday drives with Helen and listening to stories about History. He also did a lot with VA blind Association. He enjoyed sitting in the sun. He loved spending time with his family. His loving family includes a daughter, Christine Bergeron and her husband Roland of Litchfield, four grandchildren, Aimee Chevalier of Spring hill, FL, Nicole Audet and her husband Christopher of Litchfield, Raymond Chevalier of Pepperell, MA, Christopher Chevalier of Pepperell, MA, four great grandchildren, Alex Chevalier, Kayla Audet, Hunter Audet, and Jimmy Chevalier and his sister Jeanette Dumont of Tyngsboro, MA. Also some niece’s and nephew’s. Following cremation, a private service will be held for the family sometime in August at the Tyngsboro Cemetery. The family encourages donations be made in Ray’s loving memory to assist visually challenged veterans with The VA Blind Services.
