Obituary Philip R. “Dick” Dixon Sr., 83, Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona. He was born in Clearfield County, son of the late Kenneth and Grace (Richards) Dixon. He married Charlotte Archey on Nov. 30, 1955. Surviving are his wife of 64 years; two daughters: Tina M. Heininger and husband, Robert, and Dana Overcash and companion, Mark Walter, all of Altoona; two sons: Dale R. and wife, Cathy, in Florida, and Philip R. Jr. and wife, Cyndy, of King; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Connie Colabove and husband, Ray, and Phyllis Smouse and husband, Joe; and two brothers: Kenneth and wife, Linda, and Donald and companion, Jamie. Dick retired from SKF. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed bowling and playing music. All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will be live streamed to www.sorgefuneralhome.com at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2020. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
