Oneida Mae Powers October 10, 1931 – April 26, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Oneida Mae Powers, age 88, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Brandenburg, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 at her home in Louisville. She was born October 10, 1931 in Cloverport, KY to the late Willard Owen and Lilah Mae Cambell Perkins. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Powers and brother, Edward Owen Perkins. Oneida was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brandenburg and was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her children: daughter, Patti Powers of Louisville, KY and son, Kenny Powers of Chicago, IL; sister, Eloise Jolly; sister-in-law, Sister Rose Jean Powers; and many nieces and nephews. Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home will be holding a private Funeral Service with burial to follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery next to her husband.
