Nancy’s Obituary On Saturday, April 25, 2020 Nancy Lee Thompson, 61, from Wisconsin, passed away surrounded by her children. A private immediate family memorial service will be held at a later date. Nancy was born February 7, 1959 in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. She grew up in Illinois and later moved to Prescott, Wisconsin. Nancy was one of six siblings and graduated from Prescott High School. She was married to Stephen Cook for 14 years and had four children. Nancy lit up any room with her smile. Her sense of humor is one that would make tears roll down your face and your belly hurt. She had an inner strength that was indescribable. Her faith for God was unwavering and she instilled that in all of her children. She saw God’s presence in every situation and knew that God always had a plan. One of her favorite bible verses that she lived by was “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13. Nancy loved to be outside in the sun and loved nature. She enjoyed spending time landscaping, family cook outs, outdoor activities and soaking up the sun. She had an unbelievable knack for decorating homes and had an eye for detail. She could shop until she dropped. She enjoyed shopping adventures with her daughters and loved to buy for others. Her number one priority was her family. They were her world. Her love was unconditional and had no limits. She valued quality time and creating memories. It was important that her family relationships remained close and that her grandchildren bonded. She never wanted too much time in-between gatherings and always emphasized the importance of being there for one another no matter what. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her. She had touched so many people’s lives in so many ways. She is survived by her four children that loved her dearly, Ryan (Mallory) Cook, Danielle (Dan) Peterson, Katie (Scott) Olson and Rachel Cameron; her eight grandchildren who were her pride and joy; Ayden Cameron, Broedy Cameron, Hunter Olson, Henry Cook, Colton Peterson, Jax Cameron, Willow Olson and Violet Olson; brother, Howard (Jean) Thompson; sisters, Terri (Jack) Covill, Ninette (Bruce) VanSky; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy C. Thompson; father, Edward Lipke; sister, Ruth Thompson; brother, Mark Lipke; and grandparents, Anna and Bohumil Neperany. Read More
