Lester Ray Judy, age 87, a resident of Orange Beach, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. He was a long time member of Orange Beach Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and also helped out in the Youth Department. He took the children sailing, boating and dolphin watching during VBS. He served in he U.S. Army during the Korean War Conflict, He also worked for Delta Air Lines for 27 years as a pre-flight inspector. He was a loving husband to his wife, Virginia for 67 years, he was heart broken when she passed away January 12, 2020; they met and fell in love at Auburn University. He is survived by his son, John (Tish) Judy daughters, Peggy Judy and Kathy (Anthony) Hood; grandchildren David Judy, Sonya Chavez, Dan Judy, Chris Judy, Laura Lane, Matthew Pitts, Tiffany Boyt, Amanda Cheek, 15 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be limited to family members at Pine Rest funeral home, Foley, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home.
