Obituary Mary Louise Wenzel, 87, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at University Hospital. Born in Jerome, PA, she spent most of her life in the Syracuse area. Mary was a wonderful homemaker, as well as an amazing cook and baker. Mary was employed with the West Genesee Central School District Food Service for 21 years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Albert; parents, Antonio and Daisy Mastrocola; sister, Josephine Pugh; and brother, Louis Mastrocola. Surviving are her daughters, Lisa (Larry) Hopkins of Camillus and Janice (Anthony) Casale of Fort Mill, SC; sons, Alan (Kathy Aiello) Wenzel of Syracuse and Kevin (Karen) Wenzel of Syracuse; brother, Leonard (Doris) Mastrocola of Camillus; grandchildren, Kyle (Rachel), Cory, Elissa (Ryan), Lauren, Luke, Dalton (Megan), Joel and Nicolas; great-grandchildren, Emerson, Kennidy, Tanner, Miles and Landon; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Association of CNY, 4915 W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088 or to the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Circle, Syracuse, NY 13210.
