Mary’s Obituary Mary Agnes “Aggie” Wilson Ard, age 83 of South NC highway 150, Lexington passed away Wednesday April 29, 2020 at Alston Brook. In order to comply with directives from Governor Cooper’s office, a private service will be held Monday, May 4th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Preacher Harold Harper and will be streamed live on the Davidson Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome/ Mary was born April 20, 1937 to Robert Newbern Wilson and Velna Myrtle Jordan Wislon. She was a retired beautiction with Pink Patio. She was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church which she greatly enjoyed. Her love and enjoyment was being with her children and grandchildren and her love and savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Marshal N. Ard and her daughter, Jan Ard,.also her sister, Ruth Wilson Young and brothers, Keith Wilson, Bruce Wilson and George Wilson. Left to cherish her memories are her son, George Vance Ard (Laurie) of Lexington; daughters, Lorayne Ard Stone (Steve) and Misti Ard Nance (Marvin) all of Lexington; 10 grandchildren, Jordan Stone (Jessica), Devon Stone (Rebecca), Marshall Nance (Stacey), Matthew Nance (Carrie), Justin Nance (Bethany), Mekaela Nance (Matthew Sechler), Amber Ard and Austin Ard (Tori), Crystal Angel, Derek Honaker; 9 great-grandchildren, one sister; Janet Wilson Sharpe of Lexington.
