Martha’s Obituary Martha Elizabeth Davis 93 of Springfield, Ma transitioned from this life to glory on Wednesday April 15, 2020. Born in Raleigh, NC on October 30, 1926, daughter of the late Ethel and John Otis Allen. Her husband Eddie Davis preceded her in death June 1992. She was active member in many church organizations at Third Baptist church. Martha was a life member of the Lady Auxiliary to the Veteran of Foreign Wars of the United State. She loved golfing and bowling. She also was a Foster Grandparents through the Urban League program of Springfield. She leaves two daughters, Laverne (John) Strickland, Ruth Davis of Springfield, MA. 4 grandchildren: John Strickland, Jr., Tracy Ann Davis, Elizabeth Mabry all of Springfield, and Jovan Eaton of Mesa, AZ., 6 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren, many cousin and family to mourn her death. Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Celebration of her life will be at a later date. Thank you for all your love, understanding, kind words and condolences.
