A celebration of the life of Lorraine Campbell, 87, of Lubbock, Texas will be a private service at her Family Residence with Reverend Rudolf Crasta officiating. Lorraine passed away April 21, 2020.Lorraine was born April 26, 1932 in Sudbury , Ontario, Canada to Alphonse and Florence Barbeau. Lorraine married Raymond Campbell on July 11, 1953 and moved to the United States shortly after. They spent a majority of their life the Mid-West primarily the Milwaukee Area before moving to Texas (As fast as they could in 2010). She was a devoted volunteer to the Catholic Church in every parish she lived in. From Ohio , Michigan, Wisconsin including Texas. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church-Lubbock. She was a teacher and homemaker all of her life! Loved ones include son Paul Campbell and wife, Debbie; son Marc Campbell and wife, Jeanne; daughter Anne-Marie Wells and husband, Tom; daughter Christine Blackwell and husband, David; son John Campbell; son James Campbell and wife, Kendall; brother Maurice Barbeau; sister Claudette LaPointe; fourteen grandchildren, Trevor, Brooke, Ian, Emilie, Lisa, Christopher, Jason, Jessica, Cade, Claire, Rebecca, Rachel, Colin and Kaleigh; great grandchildren, Jameson and Henry. Preceded in death by Raymond Campbell (Husband) May 8, 2016, Alphonse Barbeau (Father), Florence Barbeau (Mother), John Barbeau (Brother) Memorials are suggested to Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Lorraine’s constant message to her children and grandchildren was to “love each other”! Her family is planning a memorial mass in New Braunfels on what would have been their 67th wedding anniversary…July 11th.
