Lizzie Dean Daugette, formerly of Guntersville passed away at the age of 77 on Easter Sunday April12th, 2020. Lizzie worked for Gold Kist Inc. for over 35 years in the Boaz and Guntersville locations. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan with a passion for music. Upon retirement she learned to play the guitar and spending time with her friends and family singing and dancing. Lizzie was also a lover of all animals and had a natural proclivity to nurture them. A devoted mother and one of six children Lizzie is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Lee and Deanna Mae Hilburn, her husband James Edward Daugette, three sons, Harol, Tony and Randy and one daughter Sheila. She is survived by three daughters, Tammy Hazelrig, Serena Daugette and Kelly Compton, ten grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
