Obituary Lawrence Francis Pyle, 90, of Corvallis passed away Easter Sunday, April 12th, 2020 at the Timber Creek Village Assisted Living Home in Columbia Falls. He was born May 17th, 1929 in Green Tree, PA. Larry grew up in a large and loving family in Berwyn, PA. He joined the Air Force when he was 21. While stationed at Malmstrom Air Force base in Great Falls, MT he met his wife Mabel Christensen from Poplar, MT. They were married in June of 1955 and moved back to eastern Pennsylvania near Larry’s family. Larry and Mabel lived in Pennsylvania until 1966 when they returned to Montana to care for Mabel’s mother after her father’s death. Larry worked in the oil industry in northeast Montana from 1966 until 1980 when they moved to Corvallis. Larry loved animals, especially dogs and horses. He enjoyed spending time in his shop as he was a skilled home mechanic. Larry is survived by his three sons, Larry (Joann) of Havre, Greg (Susan) of Hayden, ID, and David of Big Fork; and six grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date and will be announced.
