Katie was born on April 30, 1927 in Trout, La to her parents, Elzie and Jana Dempsey Hall. She passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in the Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria. Mrs. Stephens was hired in August 1968 by Merchants & Farmers Bank in Leesville. She worked there until her retirement in 1994. She served in many capacities at the bank to include Senior Vice President and on the Board of Directors. She was a member of the East Leesville Baptist Church in Leesville for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband: Willie Stephens. She is survived by her sister: Maxine McGraw of Hornbeck; and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
