Junior Bobo, 66, of Walnut, MS, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Alcorn County, MS on May 3. 1953 to the late Pearl and Cheerful Bobo and graduated from Kossuth High School in 1972. Junior retired after 33 years of service at ITT/Cortelco as a warehouse supervisor and later worked as a fuel delivery driver for Litco Petroleum. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Due to the pandemic and out of concern for the extended family and friends, services will be private. Honorary pallbearers include Bill Page, Tracy Blakney, Maurice Stafford, Dale Patrick, Chuck Balch, James Smith, and Jerry Talley. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Junior’s memory include his son: James Christopher Bobo and wife Emily of Corinth; his grandson: Jack Christopher Bobo and his soon to be granddaughter: Lilly James Bobo; his special friend: Carol Horton Green of Corinth; his sisters: Gerthel Mixon and husband Jesse of Corinth and Dorothy Rhoda of Hernando, MS; his sister-in-law: Pam Bobo of Corinth; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
