Alta June Callahan, age 89 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Adrian Manor in Adrian, Missouri. She was born June 3, 1930 to John Russell and Alta Belle McKee Cantrell in Austin, Missouri. June is survived by three sons, Jay Scott Underwood and Jeannie of Butler, Missouri, Neil Underwood and wife Tammy of Ft. Scott, Kansas and Richard Underwood and wife Donita of Warsaw, Missouri; one stepson, Gary Callahan of Liberty, Missouri; a stepdaughter, Carol Taylor and husband John of Amoret, Missouri; two brothers, Calvin Cantrell of Spokane Washington and Charles Cantrell and wife Barbara of Adrian, Missouri; 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gerald in 2019; and several brothers and sisters.
