Obituary February 20, 1945 – March 31, 2020 John Robert Seeley, 75, of Grant, passed away Tuesday is gone but not forgotten. Mr. Seeley enjoyed fishing, but really loved catfishing and spending time around Guntersville Lake. He was a devoted US Military Veteran serving in both the Army and Alabama National Guard with over 26 years of service. He was preceded in death by father, Mack Austin Seeley; mother, Frances Eleanor Seeley; sisters, Mollie Thompson, and Isobel Seeley; brother, Thomas Seeley. Surviving are daughter, Mary Robin Seeley; son, John Michael Seeley; daughter, Kelly Stanton; sister, Martha Thompson; brothers, David Seeley, and Mark (Gail) Seeley. Graveside service will be held at Roden Cemetery, Friday at 1:00 pm.
