Obituary John Paul Sciremammano, age 61, of Colchester, passed away at home on April 10, 2020. Born in Willimantic on December 4, 1958, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Russo) Sciremammano. John was a longtime resident of Colchester where he was a successful self- employed contractor with his business, John Crow Construction & Stone. His long time passion for horses carried down to his children, who he spent summers with at the horse shows. He was a long time player and coach for the Colchester Polish Club softball league which led him to coaching his son, Syris’s baseball team. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing and going to the Racebook at Mohegan Sun. John’s roots in this community ran very deep as he supported fundraisers, sports & organizations. John will be sadly missed by many, but remembered with love. He leaves his beloved wife, Kathy (Bernard) Sciremammano, his children, Kara Cicchiello of Columbia, John Sciremammano of Harwinton, Sierra Sciremammano of Gallatin, TN, Savanna and Syris Sciremammano, both of Colchester, step-daughter, Asia Stone of Tolland; grandchildren, Isabella, Penelope, Layne, Charleigh; his sister, Teresa Sciremammano and brother, Theodore Reinholtz; Cousin John Sciremammano and his family from New York as well as his life-long best friend, Jakub Micengendler, and many other extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was pre deceased by two children, Maria Cicchiello and Tanner Sciremammano; his sister, Frances (Reinholtz) LaChappelle and brother, William T. Reinholtz Jr. The Funeral service will be held privately. Burial will be in the New Lebanon Cemetery. The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with care of arrangements.
